Une chose est sûre : maintenant que Christiane Taubira vient d'être nommée Garde des Sceaux, il va falloir que Vincent Delerm change sa chanson "Tout le monde s'en fout".

Memory
He’d always spent a lot of time thinking of such things as George Harrison's age when The Beatles split. He had in these moments the unpleasant feeling of having fallen behind in life since he was himself considering finding a first job at the age of which some guy with the mutual agreement of three others had decided to draw a line on the concerts in front of seventy thousand people. His awarenes...s of time passing by was a model of its kind, and he was always amazed to hear people say precisely they had not noticed time passing. A sentence like “I cannot believe it was ten years ago” seemed so absurd, as he controlled any deadline separating him from anything. He was definitely not the type of person you were able to be surprise by a tripled length of hair or the twentieth anniversary of a hostage rescue. As a child he had seen on television some kind of crazy old freak wearing black and white spluterring that with the time everything goes away. The story of painted promess falling asleep that had scared him so fiercely he had conceived the desire to enjoy everything so that when he turn eighty years old he couldn’t have thought “what a shame I didn’t make the most of it and now it’s screwed-up. I feel weary like an exhausted horse, frozen in a hazardous bed. Ever since that day he had really paid attention.
